Bio: For over two-thousand years, Zordon and Rita Repulsa waged war against each other across the known galaxy. When Rita proposed a truce, she tricked Zordon and locked him in a time warp, only for the champion of light to seal her away. When that seal was broken and Rita threatened Planet Earth, Zordon summoned five teenagers and granted them access to an otherworldly power known as the Morphin Grid, transforming them into the Power Rangers. This granted them superhuman abilities and access to mighty machines called Zords, which could combine to form a massive, mechanical warrior known as the Megazord.

How to reach...
Megazord is only available in the Boss Rush mode. After you select your character, you will start in the following order of Zords, recovering a fraction of health with each victory. Once you defeat all five Zords, they will come together and merge to form the Megazord for one final battle.


KIMBERLY ANN HART/PINK RANGER WITH PTERODACTYL ZORD...
The Pterodactyl Zord is an aerial combatant, hovering in place and changing position often, making it a hard target to hit. It will speed across the stage to slam into opponents or barrage them with laser-fire. It has low HP, though, and its attacks can be fairly-easy to telegraph.

Intro:
Kimberly, without her helmet, blows a pink bubble from her gum. After it pops, she takes note of the player and puts on her helmet. As she displays her gymnastic moves, the Pterodactyl Zord flies out of the volcano behind her. With a final flip, Kim lands on the Zord, ready for combat.

Victory Outro:
The Pterodactyl descends from the sky and hovers close to the ground. Kimberly stands on the pterosaur's head and performs a few poses.

Defeat Outro:
Kim falls to the ground after ejecting herself from the damaged Pterodactyl. After getting up and dusting herself off, she takes off her helmet and greets the player.

ZACK TAYLOR/BLACK RANGER WITH MASTODON ZORD...
The Mastodon Zord is a tank, moving slowly but having high HP, great bulk that's hard to get around, and attacks that are difficult to intercept. It will stomp on opponents that are too close to it, whack them with its trunk, or spray them with freezing-cold cryogenics. It is slow and highly-susceptible to swift-moving characters.

Intro: Zack does a few moves displaying his "hip-hop kido" before slamming the ground with his fist, summoning the Mastodon Zord behind him.

Victory Outro: The Mastodon trumpets triumphantly, shooting a blast of ice from its trunk. On top of it head, Zack does a few more poses.

Defeat Outro: Zack falls from the damaged Mastodon and lands at the feet of the victor. He takes off his helmet and greets his opponent with resolve.

BILLY CRANSTON/BLUE RANGER WITH TRICERATOPS ZORD...
The Triceratops is a ground-based, charge-based character, moving quickly but lacking in overall agility and maneuverability. It will charge across the ground like a racecar or use its grapple-chains to pull opponents into a headlong charge. It has NO aerial ability, though, and some moves require brief charge-time before being used.

Intro:
Billy finishes speaking with an unknown contact through his power communicator. With one more "Affirmative", he turns to see his opponent and grabs his power lance. After several spins and displays, Billy splits them up and stands ready for battle, just as the Triceratops Zord erupts from the sandy abyss.

Victory Outro:
The Triceratops roars triumphantly, all while Billy poses on its back...only for his communicator to go off, forcing him to take the call.

Defeat Outro:
With one final roar, the Triceratops collapses, throwing Billy to the ground in front of the victor. Shaken, he takes off his helmet to reveal his damaged glasses. But nonetheless he stands with dignity.

"Diagnostics on the Zord will have to be taken into account. But I can't guarantee your safety."

TRINI KWAN/YELLOW RANGER WITH SABERTOOTH TIGER ZORD...
The Sabertooth is a nimble and savage fighter, dashing across the stage or leaping around, peppering the foes with savage melee attacks. These include pouncing from one side of the stage to the other, unleashing laser blasts from its tail, and barrages of claw-swipes. It is fairly-weak on an attack strength standpoint, and it lacks ranged game and stamina, too.

Intro:
Trini is practicing her martial art techniques in a misty forest. She sees the opponent and does several poses, just as the Saber-Toothed Tiger Zord emerges from the trees.

Victory Outro:
Trini twirls her Power Daggers and strikes several poses on the head of her Zord, who unleashes a triumphant roar.

Defeat Outro:
The Saber-Toothed tiger roars defiantly before collapsing to the ground. Trini is thrown out at the feet of the victor. After managing to stand up, she takes off her helmet and faces her defeat with dignity.

JASON LEE SCOTT/RED RANGER WITH TYRANNOSAURUS ZORD...
The Tyrannosaurus is the most well-rounded of the Zords and one of the more challenging combatants. It stands tall, moves fairly well, and has a broad array of abilities. It can stomp across the stage, swing with its tail, shoot lasers from its eyes, or create shockwaves. Its height, however, makes it an easy-to-hit target even from good distances.

Intro
(NOTE: If Red Ranger is the opponent, the Tyranno-zord is revealed to be piloted by a hologram. As such, Tyrannosaurus gets no quotes to the Red Ranger)
Jason stands in the middle of a barren wasteland, Power Sword resting at his feet in an Excalibur-esque fashion. But one look causes Jason to pull the sword out of the ground, ready to fight. At that moment, the earth behind him rips apart, and the Tyrannosaurus Zord emerges from the crevice.

Victory Outro
The Tyrannosaurus unleashes a powerful roar victory, as Jason performs several flashy poses on top of its head.

Defeat Outro
Jason falls from the malfunctioning Tyrannosaurus but lands at the feet of the victor in one piece, his sword embedding into the ground mere inches from his face. He stands before them and takes off his helmet.

Starting off from Jason’s end quote, the other rangers step forward one at a time, taking the player by surprise.

Zack (coming out from behind the Tyrannosaurus): “Yeah, man. You’ve got the moves.”
Kimberly (Landing on Jason’s right) : “And you’ve got perfect balance.”
Billy (Teleporting in behind Kimberly): ”Affirmative. You managed to pinpoint our weaknesses and use that against us.”
Trini (Teleporting in on Jason’s left in front of Zack): “And you combined brain and brawn to take us down."
(Billy nods)
Jason: “You’ve gotten the best of us. But let’s see what happens when you take us all on. (To the team) Ready?”
Other rangers: Ready!

(vs. Tigerzord or Dragonzord)
Zack: “Yeah. If only it were that easy.”
Kimberly: There’s still one more thing we want from you.”
Billy: “You’ve shown your capabilities as a leader and a warrior.”
Trini: “And you’ve helped us out of more situations than we can count.”
Jason: “You’re a good partner, Tommy. But now it’s time for your final test. (To the team) Ready?”
Other rangers: “Ready!”

(vs. Epyon)
Zack: “But don’t think we forgot what you did.”

Billy: “But we recovered, and we’ve rebuilt.”

Zack: "You're not half-bad, boss-man."
Kimberly: "But you have one more obstacle."
Billy: "Thanks to a little gizmo of mine..."

(vs. Leonardo)
Zack: "But you're still in for the hardest challenge yet!"
Kimberly: "So you managed to beat us all individually."
Billy: "But much like you and your brothers..."
Trini: "We work better when we combine our powers!"
Jason: "And you're about to get a front-row seat! (To the team) Ready?"
Other rangers: "Ready!"

The cutscenes all end with the rangers raising their hands to the sky.

All Rangers: “We need Megazord power! Now!”

In the distance the remaining Dinozords charge in, the Tyrannosaurus rising up and letting out a thunderous roar of defiance. The rangers jump into their Zords and they combine to form the Megazord, which towers over the player.


Intro: After the Rangers call their Zords, the previous Dinozords charge in and the Tyrannosaurus rears back up with a defiant roar. The Rangers jump into their cockpits and, not long afterward, a computerized voice says "Megazord Formation Initiated". The Tyrannosaurus locks its legs onto the Triceratops and Sabertooth, forming new legs. The Mastodon splits and latches onto the T-Rex's back, forming shoulders and arms. As the forming Megazord stands up, the Pterodactyl flies down and turns around, forming the chestplate as the T-Rex's head shifts down. Finally, a new head emerges, complete with horns, and the Zord's eyes flash red briefly before the now-fully-formed Megazord takes a battle-ready position.

Victory Outro: The Megazord holds up a clenched fist in victory as the camera pans in on the Power Rangers in the cockpit, giving their own victory salute.

Defeat Outro: Sparks begin to fly as the Megazord malfunctions, its joints convulsing from a overcharge of power. As it falls, the five Power Rangers fall from their mech, hitting the ground hard. The Megazord blows up, and the rangers de-morph, returning them to their civilian outfits.


Special Attacks:
(Note: the player fighting Megazord is standing atop a skyscraper rooftop and facing the Megazord from about chest-level)

-Cranial Laser: Megazord fires three beams at the rooftop, each beam going further out than the last.

-Sword Wave: Megazord summons its Power Sword and takes three swipes. One backhand swing, one forehand swing, and one vertical chop.

-Freezing Shield: Megazord will hold up its Mastodon Head Shield, rendering it immune to projectiles, and fires a short-range blast of freezing chemicals.

-Stopper Blast: Megazord shoots blue beams from its eyes. Direct hits will temporarily freeze the player in place for a few seconds.

-Shake and Slam: Megazord will kick the building the player stands on, creating a tremor that can stun if they're in contact with the ground, then follow up by slamming a fist down on the roof.

Super Moves:
-Power Beam: The Megazord gathers energy at its chestplate, then fires a colossal beam of golden energy, steadily angling it higher to span the stage and catch airborne foes. The damage it does is VAST, but blockable.

-Ultimate Power Sword: The Megazord calls forth its Power Sword and holds it up in the air as it glows red and crackles with electricity. After enough power is gathered, it will swing downward, creating a stage-spanning wave of red energy that is unavoidable and cannot be blocked. This move is a guaranteed one-hit KO if it hits, but there is one drawback. If the player attacks Megazord enough, it's possible to stun it and cancel out the attack.
